3.1 Tools: Backup and Delete All Objects

Both these tools require a 3.1 world server build 28 or higher.

Backup. On the right of the Survey Manager, select the Backup tab. You will see 2 modes: xelagot and propdump.

Xelagot mode (*.xlg) creates new files each time, with a timestamp and number. Every few thousand objects, another file is created to split the backup into manageable chunks.
Propdump mode (*.prp) creates one file, replacing older propdumps of the same world (it does leave the last one, renaming it to .bak).

Click on the start button to start the backup. This Backup uses the Cell Iteration method of the new world server, which does not interfere with queries or live update (Backup will temporarily give way to Survey if both are run simultaneously). TIP: speed up the bot by changing the heartbeat to 16 beats per second. You will find this option in the main Bot menu.

Xelagot 2.9999994 has a new feature: when the bot looses connection to the world, backups would fail. As from this version, the bot will resume the backup after a disconnection. You may also safely pause and resume a backup hitting stop and start, which will present you with an option to pause/stop a backup and resume/start new backup. If you stop the bot application 9close the program or have a program crash), this feature will not work.

Delete All Objects. Requires a bot with caretaker capabilities. Select the Wipe tab, click on Start. All objects in the world get wiped out in a second.
